English Proficiency requirement: Applicants from an institution where the language of teaching is not English should satisfy the minimum English proficiency requirements specified by the University. The University’s minimum English proficiency requirement for research degree programmes is a total score of 550 (paper-based test); or 79 (internet-based test); or 59 (revised paper-delivered test; sum of Reading, Listening and Writing section scores) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) OR an overall band score of 6.5 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)~. TOEFL and IELTS scores are considered valid for two years from the test date and must be valid at the time of submission of application. Note: TOEFL iBT Home Edition and IELTS Indicator are not accepted.

The postdoctoral fellow positions are available in Professor Wang's group at the School of Energy and Environment at the City University of Hong Kong depending on group's research needs. The appointee will mainly conduct research projects related to CO2 electrochemical conversion. The appointee is expected to publish first-authored papers in high-impact journal and cultivate their mentoring skills by devoting a small part of their time to mentor graduate students.

Ph.D. degree or close to receiving Ph.D. degree is required for postdoctoral fellow. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate strong motivation, critical thinking ability, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
